Who am i, and what do i want?
I'm Tim - i'm one of those "jack of all trades" types mostly working on Python projects - mostly in the backend realm.
In 2024 i developed and maintained open source software for the
government of Greenland while interning with Magenta ApS in Aarhus,
Denmark.
Amongst the tech and tools used for this was:
- Pycharm and fish on Debian and Ubuntu
- Python, PostgreSQL in Docker containers on Ubuntu servers
- IaaS with Salt and Terraform
- Semantic-release to manage versioning and releasing
- Linting and optimising Python files with flake8 , black , isort and later with ruff
- Other linting and checking with hadolint , eslint , Biome , YAMLLint , REUSE and some custom made code checkers and linters for configs and documentations.
- Documentation using markdown, mdx and GitBook
- Documentation and other paperwork for customers using LaTeX
- Small static pages made with Astro , just like this page
At the moment i'm looking for work as a junior Python/Backend developer.
Even though i'm the most comfortable with Python, i'm absolutely interested in getting to work with other technologies.
So if you have a hint for me in that regard, please reach out using the email button at the bottom of this page.
